Marine Discovery Centre
Our namesake! The Department of Primary Industries provides education and eco-tourism services through the Marine Discovery Centre in Queenscliff. Located on the shores of Swan Bay in Queenscliff approximately one and half hours from Melbourne, our centre provides a unique location to learn about the plants and animals that inhabit our coast and marine environment.
Victorian Environmental Friends Network
The Victorian Environment Friends Network Committee was originally established to organise the biennial conference. Nowadays, as well as doing this it arranges seminars, produces a quarterly newsletter, administers the Best Friend Award, promotes environmental volunteering and liaises with managing authorities.

The Marine and Coastal Community Network (MCCN) is a non-government project that builds community, industry and government support for the conservation of marine biodiversity and ecological processes, and the ecologically sustainable use of marine and coastal environments.
Marine Education Society of Australasia
MESA is a national organisation bringing together those interested in coastal and marine environments, facilitating the development of leading environmental education and interpretation programs. MESA also promotes the sustainable use of marine and coastal environments through education.
3CR Community Radio - 855am
3CR was established in 1976 to provide a voice for those denied access to the mass media, particularly the working class, women, Indigenous people and the many community groups discriminated against in and by the mass media. Out of the Blue is proud to be a part of 3CR - Check it out!
Radio Marinara
We're not the only ones in Melbourne hitting the airwaves - there's also Radio Marinara, which can be heard on 102.7FM Triple R, between 9 and 10am every Sunday.
Parks Victoria
Through Parks Victoria, the Victorian Government has created a system of 13 Marine National Parks and 11 smaller Marine Sanctuaries. These parks and sanctuaries now protect 5.3% of Victoria's coastal waters, safeguarding important marine habitats and species, significant natural features, cultural heritage and aesthetic values.
